Pest Control Terms of Service in Florida

What Our Pest Control Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Florida Pest Pros provides pest control only as described in the estimate, service agreement, or other written work order accepted by the customer. Depending on that document, work may include inspection, treatment of identified pests, and instructions for preparation or follow-up.

The agreement identifies the service area, treatment limits, and any customer responsibilities. Work not listed such as repairs, cleanup, wildlife removal, or treatment of additional pests requires a separate written agreement.

Structural pest control services are subject to Florida Statutes Chapter 482 and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 5E-14. Pesticides are applied and handled according to their labels, FIFRA requirements, and applicable United States Environmental Protection Agency rules.

Florida applicator certification applies when required, including for restricted-use pesticides. Termite protection work must account for Florida Building Code R318 where applicable.

Florida Department of Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and Florida Building Commission requirements may also apply to relevant work. We do not promise services outside the agreed scope.

Booking, Changing, or Canceling a Visit

Appointments are arranged through Florida Pest Pros and confirmed for the service address and agreed work. Please provide accurate contact and access details, and follow any preparation instructions we give before arrival.

If you need to cancel or change a visit, contact us as soon as possible using the details in these terms. Any cancellation fee or minimum notice requirement will apply only if it was disclosed in the accepted estimate or service agreement.

A scheduled time may be adjusted for weather, safety concerns, access problems, or other circumstances that prevent the agreed work. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange another time.

If inspection shows that the requested work needs to change, we will explain the proposed change and any cost before proceeding. We will not treat additional areas or add services without your approval, except where immediate action is required by law or needed to address an urgent safety concern. Rescheduling does not change other agreed terms.

Written Quotes and When Payment Is Due

An estimate describes the work and price proposed based on the information available at the time. It may depend on an inspection, the reported pest activity, site conditions, and the treatment area.

Unless the estimate says otherwise, it is not approval for work beyond the listed scope. Ask us about any unclear item before accepting. Your approval may be recorded in writing or through another method stated in the estimate.

Payment timing, accepted payment methods, and any applicable charges will be shown in the estimate or service agreement. Payment is due as stated in that document.

If the inspection reveals a condition that changes the work or cost, we will explain the proposed change and request your approval before doing the added work. We do not set an unlisted price or financing offer through these terms.

Contact Florida Pest Pros promptly if you believe an invoice does not match the approved work; we will review the estimate, service record, and invoice with you.

What to Expect About Service Coverage

Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only if it is expressly stated in your written estimate or service agreement. That document controls the covered pest, treatment area, duration, and steps for requesting service.

These terms do not create a warranty or promise a particular outcome, and we do not state a standard coverage period for every job. Pest activity can depend on conditions beyond the treatment area or our control.

Coverage may not apply where the written agreement says it is excluded or where required customer preparation, access, sanitation, or follow-up steps are not completed. Changes to the property, new pest entry, or activity outside the agreed area may also fall outside the stated coverage.

We will explain any applicable limits in the job documents. If you believe a covered issue has returned, contact us using the details below and refer to your service record.

We will review the agreement and determine whether the requested visit falls within its written terms.

Responsibility for Conditions and Losses

To the extent permitted by law, Florida Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, pest activity outside the treated area, or conditions that were not included in the agreed scope. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or changes rights that apply under Florida or federal law.

Our work follows applicable structural pest control requirements under Florida Statutes Chapter 482 and Florida Administrative Code Chapter 5E-14. Pesticide handling and use follow product-label directions and federal FIFRA requirements.

Restricted-use pesticides may be applied only by appropriately certified Florida applicators, as required. Termite protection work is subject to applicable Florida Building Code R318 provisions.

These standards do not make us responsible for property conditions outside the agreed work. Please report a concern promptly so we can review the service documents and relevant facts.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Florida Pest Pros at (855) 681-0299 or [email protected]. You may also write to 4041 NW 37th Place, Suite B, Gainesville, FL, United States. Include the service address and, if available, your estimate or invoice number so we can direct your question appropriately.

We may update these terms when our business practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on the applicable website page with a revised effective date when provided.

For work already approved, the terms in your accepted estimate or service agreement govern unless you and Florida Pest Pros agree otherwise in writing or the law requires a different result. Continuing to use the website after an update indicates acceptance of revised website terms where legally permitted; it does not automatically change an existing service agreement. Please review the current version before requesting new work.
